The number of optical isomers formed hydrogenation of the compound, $(CH_3)_2C = CHCH_3$ are :

$(CH_3)_2 =CHCH_3 \longrightarrow (CH_3)_2CH -CH_2CH_3$
The reduced product does not contain a chiral carbon atom and hence is optically inactive.
so it is zero.
Hence d is the correct answer.
