The carbon- carbon length in benzene is :

$ (a)\;1.20\;A^{\circ} \\(b)\;1.34\;A^{\circ} \\(c)\;1.39\;A^{\circ}\\(d)\;1.54\;A^{\circ}$

1 Answer

Due to resonance,all the C-C bond length are equal and has bond distance $1.39\;A^{\circ}$ .
There is delocalisation of $\pi$ electrons.
