If $V_0$ is the volume of the given mass of a gas at 273K and pressure P , then according to Charles's law the volume of same mass of gas at $10^{\large\circ}C$ and pressure P will be

$(a)\;10V_0\qquad(b)\;\large\frac{1}{273}[V_0+10]\qquad(c)\;V_0+\large\frac{10}{273}\qquad(d)\;\large\frac{283}{273}.V_0$

1 Answer

$PV_0 = nR\times273$
$PV = nR\times 283$
$\therefore V = \large\frac{283}{273} \times V_0$
Hence answer is (d)
