At , atmosphere pressure and a certain temperature the velocity of sound is 350 m/s of a certain gas . For the same gas at same temperature the velocity of sound at 2 atm pressure is : (consider ideal gas)

$(a)\;350 \;m/s\qquad(b)\;\large\frac{350}{\sqrt{2}}\;m/s\qquad(c)\;350 \sqrt{2}\;m/s\qquad(d)\;700\;m/s$

Answer : (a) $\;350\;m/s$
Explanation :
Velocity of an ideal gas $\;\alpha \sqrt{T}\;$ only or T remains same , therefore v also remains same .
