In figure a block of mass 100 kg tied to a string of linear mass density 0.1 Kg/m . Find the velocity of wave produced in the string ? (neglect string mass) $\;(g=10\;m/s^{2})$

Answer : (b) $\;100\;m/s$
Explanation :
velocity (v) = $\;\sqrt{\large\frac{F}{\mu}}$
Tension in the string (F) = $\;100 \times 10$
$=1000 N$
