A wave equation is given by $\;x_{1}=A sin w(t-\large\frac{x}{K})\;$ where A is in mts , w is in Hz , x is in mts . The units of k are

$(a)\;m/s\qquad(b)\;m/s^2\qquad(c)\;m\qquad(d)\;m^2/s^2$

Answer : (a) $\;m/s$
Explanation :
The equation becomes $\;\large\frac{wx}{K}\;$ inside which should be unitless
As the units of x are m and w is $s^{-1}$
Therefore , The units of K are m/s .
