HDP is prepared by heating ethene in a hydrocarbon solvent at about 333-343K under a pressure of 6-7 atmosphere in the presence of a catalyst such as triethyaluminium & titanium tetrachloride (known as Zeigler-Natta catalyst)
$nCH_2=CH_2\quad\underrightarrow{333-343K,6-7atm}\quad -(CH_2-CH_2-)_n$
Hence (b) is the correct answer.
