A circuit is made as shown --- The circuit contains a component made of bimetallic strip . If the temperature is increased , will the bulb glow ? ( Assume the emf of battery is enough to light the bulb )

$(a)\;Yes\qquad(b)\;No\qquad(c)\;Depends\;on\;actual\;value\;of\;\alpha_{1}\;and\;\alpha_{2}\qquad(d)\;Can't\;be\;determined$

Answer : No
Since the coefficient of linear expansion of lower strips more , it expands more than the upper rod .
Since the strips are joined , so the radius of curvature must increase . Therefore , the bimetallic strip will never touch the metallic piece such that the bulb grows .
