An FM signal has deviation 75KHz and the highest frequency of modulation is 15KHz.Band width is

$\begin{array}{1 1}(a)\;\text{60 KHz}\\(b)\; \text{90 KHz}\\(c)\;\text{100 KHz}\\(d)\;\text{180 KHz}\end{array}$

1 Answer

After modulation total deviation $=75+15$KHz
$\Rightarrow 90$KHz
$\therefore$ Band width =$2\times$ deviation
$\Rightarrow 2\times 90$
$\Rightarrow 180 KHz$
Hence (d) is the correct option.
