On monochlorination of 2-methylbutane,the total number of chiral compounds formed is

$\begin{array}{1 1}(a)\;2\\(b)\;4\\(c)\;6\\(d)\;8\end{array}$

1 Answer

Chlorination at C-2 and C-4 produces no chiral compound.
