In the experiment to find the refractive index of the material of prism. by minimum deviation method $D_m$ the minimum deviation is observed from the graph plotted in the experiment . The graph is plotted between

$(a)\;\text{incident angle and emergent angle} \\(b)\;\text{incident angle and angle of prism.} \\(c)\;\text{angle of deviation and emergent angle.} \\(d)\;\text{incident angle and angle of deviation.} $

To find $D_m$ the minimum deviation graph is plotted between incident angle and deviation produced.
The minimum value of deviation is noted and $\mu$ is calculated from.
$\mu= \large\frac{\sin \bigg(\Large\frac{A+Pm}{2}\bigg)}{\sin (A/2)}$
Where A is angle of prism
Hence d is the correct answer.
