$Zn-H_2O$ cleavage gives ZnO.$(CH_3)_2S$(DMS) cleavage gives $(CH_3)_2S=O$(DMSO).But $H_2O$ cleavage gives weak oxidising agent $H_2O_2$
Hence (c) is the correct answer.
