For highly reactive metals like alkali and alkaline earth metals, only way of reduction is

Alkali and alkaline earth metals cannot be obtained by chemical reduction methods because they are strong reducing agents and possess very high reactivity due to which they cant be reduced easily by any other element and so can only be obtained by electrolytic reduction
They are reduced at cathode of electrolytic cell.
Hence c is the correct answer.
