A gaseous mixture contains oxygen and nitrogen in the ratio of $1:4$ by weight . Therefore , the ratio of their number of molecules is

$(a)\;1:4 \\ (b)\;1:8 \\(c)\;7:32 \\(d)\;3.16 $

$\large\frac{Oxygen}{Nitrogen}=\frac{1}{4} $(by weight}
Ratio of number of molecules $=\large\frac{14}{4 \times 16}=\frac{7}{32}$
$7:32$ is the ratio of their no of molecules.
Hence c is the correct answer.
