The specific heat of a metal is 0.11 and its equivalent weight is 18.61.Its exact atomic weight is

At.wt $\times$ sp.heat=6.4(approx)
$\therefore$ Approx atomic wt=$\large\frac{6.4}{0.11}$$=58.1$
Now,valency =$\large\frac{\text{Approx.at.wt}}{Eq.wt}=\frac{58.1}{18.61}$$=3$
Exact at.wt=Eq.wt $\times$ valency
$\Rightarrow 3\times 18.61=55.83$
Hence (c) 55.83 is the correct answer.
