A container of volume V contains 0.28g of $N_2$ gas.If the same volume of an unknown gas under similar conditions of temperature and pressure weighs 0.44g,the molecular mass of the gas is

Moles of unknown gas=moles of $N_2$(Avogadro's hypothesis)
$\therefore M=\large\frac{0.44\times 28}{0.28}$$=44$
Hence (b) is the correct answer.
