The numerical value of N/n (where N is the number of molecules in a given sample of gas and n is the number of moles of the gas) is

$\begin{array}{1 1}(a)\;8.314& (b)\;6.02\times 10^{23} \\(c)\;0.0821&(d)\;1.62\times 10^{-24}\end{array}$

1 Answer

We know,
$6.023\times 10^{23}$ molecules (N)=1 mole (n)
$\therefore\large\frac{N}{n}=\frac{1}{6.023\times 10^{23}}$$=1.62\times 10^{-24}$
$\therefore$ The option is (d) $1.62\times 10^{-24}$
