$\%$ by weight =$\large\frac{Weight\; of\; solute}{Weight \;of \;solution } \times$$ 100$
Suppose the weight of solute =x
or $20 =\large\frac{x}{x+60} $$\times 100$
or $x= 15\;g$
Hence a is the correct answer.
