Find $\Large \frac{dy}{dx}$ when $y=\tan^{-1}\Large\frac{1+x^2}{1-x^2}$

Toolbox:
  • Use chain rule.
  • $ tan^{-1}\large \frac{a+b}{1-ab} = tan^{-1}a+tan^{-1}b$
$ y = tan^{-1}1+tan^{-1}x^2$
$ \large\frac{dy}{dx} = \large\frac{2x}{1+x^4}$
