The ratio of masses of oxygen and nitrogen in a particular gaseous mixture is 1 : 4. The ratio of number of their molecules is

$\large\frac{N_{\large N_2}}{N_{\large n_2}}=\frac{\Large\frac{1}{32}}{\Large\frac{4}{28}}=\frac{7}{32}$
$\Rightarrow 7 : 32$
Hence (D) is the correct answer.
