Find the radian measures corresponding to the following degree measures :-$240^{\large\circ}$

$\begin{array}{1 1}(A)\;\large\frac{3\pi}{2}&(B)\;2\pi\\(C)\;\large\frac{4\pi}{3}&(D)\;\large\frac{5\pi}{3}\end{array} $

Toolbox:
  • $\pi$ radians=$180^{\large\circ}$
  • 1 radian=$(\large\frac{180}{\pi})$
$\pi$ radians=$180^{\large\circ}$
$240^{\large\circ}=\large\frac{\pi}{180}$$\times 240$ radians
$\Rightarrow \large\frac{4\pi}{3}$ radians
Hence (C) is the correct answer.
