Find the radian measures corresponding to the following degree measures :-$520^{\large\circ}$

$\begin{array}{1 1}(A)\;\large\frac{24\pi}{9}&(B)\;\large\frac{\pi}{9}\\(C)\;\large\frac{2\pi}{9}&(D)\;\large\frac{26\pi}{9}\end{array} $

Toolbox:
  • $\pi$ radians=$180^{\large\circ}$
  • 1 radian=$(\large\frac{180}{\pi})$
$180^{\large\circ}$=$\pi$ radians
$520^{\large\circ}$=$\large\frac{\pi}{180}$$\times 520$ radians
$\Rightarrow \large\frac{26\pi}{9}$ radians
Hence (D) is the correct answer.
