Find the degree measures corresponding to the following radian measures :-$\large\frac{5\pi}{3}$

$\begin{array}{1 1}(A)\;200^{\large\circ}&(B)\;150^{\large\circ}\\(C)\;250^{\large\circ}&(D)\;300^{\large\circ}\end{array} $

1 Answer

Toolbox:
  • $\pi$ radians=$180^{\large\circ}$
  • 1 radian=$(\large\frac{180}{\pi})$
We have $\pi$ radian =$\large\frac{22}{7}$ radian=$180^{\large\circ}$
$\Rightarrow \large\frac{5\pi}{3}=\frac{5\pi}{3}\times \frac{180}{\pi}$
$\Rightarrow \large\frac{5}{3}$$\times 180^{\large\circ}$
$\Rightarrow 300^{\large\circ}$
Hence (D) is the correct answer.
