Find the degree measures corresponding to the following radian measures :- $\large\frac{7\pi}{6}$

$\begin{array}{1 1}(A)\;200^{\large\circ}&(B)\;210^{\large\circ}\\(C)\;220^{\large\circ}&(D)\;240^{\large\circ}\end{array} $

1 Answer

Toolbox:
  • $\pi$ radians=$180^{\large\circ}$
  • 1 radian=$(\large\frac{180}{\pi})$
We have $\pi$ radian =$\large\frac{22}{7}$ radian=$180^{\large\circ}$
$\Rightarrow \large\frac{7\pi}{6}=\large\frac{7\pi}{6}\times \large\frac{180}{\pi}$
$\Rightarrow \large\frac{7}{6}$$\times 180^{\large\circ}$
$\Rightarrow 210^{\large\circ}$
Hence (B) is the correct answer.
