If 5litre of ideal gas is compressed isothermally at 800mm Hg to 2 litre.Find its stress?

Here $V_1=5l,V_2=2l$
$P_1=$800mm Hg
As $P_1V_1=P_2V_2$ for isothermal process of ideal.
$5\times 800=2\times P_2$
$P_2=2000$
Stress =$\Delta P$
$\Rightarrow (2000-800)$mm Hg
$\Rightarrow$ 1400mm Hg
$\Rightarrow 1400\times \large\frac{1}{760}$atm
$\Rightarrow 1.842$atm
Hence (A) is the correct answer.
