A wire can sustain the weight of 5kg.If we cut the wire in 3 parts then together 3 parts can sustain the weight

All these wires are of same material so their breaking stress is same.So 3 wires can support 3 times the weight that 1 wire can support.
Hence (B) is the correct answer.
