If pressure and temperature of an ideal gas is doubled and volume is halved the number of molecules of gas:-

$\begin{array}{1 1}(A)\;\text{remains constant}\\(B)\;\text{becomes half}\\(C)\;\text{becomes two times}\\(D)\;\text{becomes 4 times}\end{array} $

During any physical process,molecules of gas remain constant.
Hence (A) is the correct answer.
