The distance between gas molecules is doubled on constant temperature,then the pressure is

$\begin{array}{1 1}(A)\;\large\frac{p}{16}\\(B)\;\large\frac{p}{8}\\(C)\;\large\frac{p}{4}\\(D)\;\large\frac{p}{2}\end{array} $

T$\rightarrow$ Same
$P\propto v$
$V=\large\frac{v}{8}$
$P=\large\frac{p}{8}$
Hence (B) is the correct answer.
