A vessel A with a capacity $V_1=2lt$ contains gas at a pressure $P_1=2atm$ and a vessel B with a capacity of $V_2=4lt$ contains the same gas at a pressure of 1atm.The temperature is $0^{\large\circ}C$ in A & $27^{\large\circ}C$ in B.What will be the pressure in the vessels if they are connected by a tube?

$\begin{array}{1 1}(A)\;1.43atm\\(B)\;14.3atm\\(C)\;0.72atm\\(D)\;7.2atm\end{array} $

$PV=P_1V_1+P_2V_2$
$P(V_1+V_2)=P_1V_1+P_2V_2$
$\Rightarrow P=1.43atm$
Hence (A) is the correct answer.
