# Find the intersection of each pair of the following set :(iv) A={x : x is a natural number and $1 < x\leq 6$},B={x : x is a natural number and $6 < x < 10$}

$\begin{array}{1 1}(A)\;\{2,3,4,5\}&(B)\;\{7,8,9\}\\(C)\;\phi&(D)\;\{2,3,4,5,7,8,9\}\end{array}$

Can you answer this question?

A={2,3,4,5}
B={7,8,9}
There is no common element to both A and B
$\therefore A\cap B=\{2,3,4,5\} \cap \{7,8,9\}$
$\Rightarrow \phi$
Hence (C) is the correct answer.
