If A={x : x is a natural number},B={x : x is an even natural number},C={x : x is an odd natural number } and D={x : x is a prime number },Find (vi) $C\cap D$

$\begin{array}{1 1}(A)\;\{1,2,3,4,5.....\}&(B)\;\{2,3,5,7.....\}\\(C)\;\{3,5,7,11,17......\}&(D)\;\{1,3,5,7....\}\end{array} $

1 Answer

$C=\{1,3,5,7,9,11....\}$
$D=\{2,3,5,7,11,17,19....\}$
Here odd prime numbers are common elements in both C & D
$C\cap D=\{1,3,5,7,9,11....\}\cap \{2,3,5,7,11,17,19....\}$
$\Rightarrow \{3,5,7,11,17,19....\}$
Hence (C) is the correct answer.
