Find the differential equation that will represent the family of straight lines \( y=mx+c\), where m,c are parameters.

Since the equation of the straight lines has two parameters, we will hve to differentiate twice. Given y = mx + c Differentiating w.r.t x we get Dy/dx = m Differentiating again w.r.t x weget D^2y/dx^2 =0 Hence the required differential equation is D^2y/dx^2= 0
