A long metallic cylinder of radius $r_1$ and linear charge density $\lambda$ is surrounded by a grounded hollow co-axial conducting cylinder of radius $r_2 (> r_1).$ What will be the value of the electric field at a distance $r (r_2 > r > r_1)$ from the axis of the two cylinders?

$(A) \; \large\frac{\lambda}{2 \pi \in_0 r}$
Hence A is the correct answer.
