Find the molarity of a mixed solution formed by adding 250 ml of 0.2M NaOH solution and 100 ml of 0.5M NaOH solution.

$V_1$ = 250 ml
$V_2$ = 100 ml
We know, $M=\large\frac{V_1M_1+V_2M_2}{V_1+V_2}$
$\Rightarrow \large\frac{250\times 0.2+100\times 0.5}{250+100}=\frac{50+50}{350}$$=0.285$
Therefore, the final molarity is 0.285 M
Hence (B) is the correct answer
