5 g of NaCl is dissolved in 1000 g of water. If the density of the resulting solution is 0.997 g per cc, calculate (ii) molarity

Molarity=No.of moles of solute/Volume of solution in litre
Volume of the solution =$\large\frac{1005}{0.997}$cc
$\Rightarrow \large\frac{0.0854}{1.008}$$=0.085M$
Hence (A) is the correct answer.
