5 g of NaCl is dissolved in 1000 g of water. If the density of the resulting solution is 0.997 g per cc, calculate (iii) Normality

1 Answer

Normality = Molarity $\times$ x
For NaCl, eq. wt. = mol. wt; x = 1
N = 0.085
Hence (A) is the correct answer.
