A wire is bent in a circle of radius $10\; cm.$ It is given a charge of $250\;\mu C$ which spreads on it uniformly. What is the electric potential at the centre?

$q= 250\;\mu, \qquad C=250 \times10^{-6}C$
$r= 10 cm=\large\frac{10}{100}m$$=10^{-1}m,V=?$
We know , $V=\large\frac{1}{4 \pi \in_0 r}$
$ V=\large\frac{9 \times 10^{9} \times 250 \times 10^{-6}}{10^{-1}}$
$\qquad= 2.25 \times 10^{7}\;volt$
Therefore, the potential at the centre is $2.25 \times 10^7 \;V$
Hence D is the correct answer.
