45g of ethylene glycol $(C_2H_6O_2$) is mixed with 600g water. Calculate (a) Freezing point depression .($K_f$ for water = 1.86 $K kg mol^{−1}$; Atomic masses: C = 12, H = 1, O = 16 amu)

$\Delta T_f=K_fm=\large\frac{K_f\times W_1\times 1000}{W_1\times M_2}$
Substituting the values in the formula, we get $\Delta T_f=\large\frac{1000\times 1.86\times 45}{600\times 62}$
$\Rightarrow 2.25K$
Hence (A) is the correct answer.
