A parallel plate capacitor has plate area $25.0 cm^2$ and a separation of $2.0\; mm$ between the plates. The capacitor is connected to a battery of $12.0\; V $ Find the charge on the capacitor

Here, $A = 25.0 cm^2 = 25.0 \times 10^{–4} m^2, d = 2.0 mm = 2 × 10^{–3}, V = 12 volt.$
Charge on the capacitor, q = ?
$q= CV= \large\frac{\in_0 A}{d}$$V$
$\quad= \large\frac{8.85 \times 10^{-12} (25 .0 \times 10^{-4}) \times 12}{2 \times 10^{-3}}$
$\quad= 1.35 \times 10^{-10} C$
Hence C is the correct answer.
