Two liquids A and B are mixed at temperature T in a certain ratio to form an ideal solution. It is found that the partial vapour pressure of A, i.e., $p_A$ is equal to $p_B$, the vapour pressure of B for the liquid mixture. What is the total vapour pressure of the liquid mixture in terms of $p_A^0$ and $p_B^0$ ?

$\large\frac{2p_A^0p_B^0}{p_A^0+p_B^0}$
Hence (B) is the correct answer.
