If $X=\{a,b,c,d\}$ and $Y=\{f,b,d,g\}$,find (iii) $X\cap Y$

$\begin{array}{1 1}(A)\;\{a,b,c,d\}&(B)\;\{f,g\}\\(C)\;\{b,d\}&(D)\;\phi\end{array} $

$X=\{a,b,c,d\}$
$Y=\{f,b,d,g\}$
$X \cap Y=\{a,b,c,d\}\cap \{f,b,d,g\}$
$\Rightarrow \{b,d\}$
Hence (C) is the correct answer.
