The number of ways to give away 20 apples to 3 boys,each boy receiving atleast 4 apples is

After giving away 4 apples to each boy,8 apples are left to be distributed among 3 boys.
$\therefore$ The required number of ways =the number of non-negative integral solutions of $(x+y+z=8)$
$\Rightarrow 10C_8$
Hence (A) is the correct answer.
