Differentiate \( cos(sin\: x)\) with respect to x.

Toolbox:
  • Chain Rule :$\large\frac{dy}{du}\times \frac{du}{dx}=\frac{dy}{dx}$
$y=\cos(\sin x)$
Differentiating with respect to x we get,
$\large\frac{dy}{dx}$$=-\sin (\sin x)\cos x$
$\;\;\;\;=-\cos x.\sin (\sin x)$
