In a group of 52 persons, 16 drink tea but not coffee and 33 drink tea. Find: \[\] (i) how many drink both tea and coffee.\[\] (ii) how many drink coffee, but not tea.

Can you answer this question?

Hint - Draw 2 interecting sets, one for tea and one for coffee.

Tea only = 16
All tea = 33
So tea + coffee = 33 - 16 = 17
Total who drink coffee = 52 - 16 = 36
So only coffee but not tea = 36 - 17 = 19
 
(i) 17
(ii) 19
