The sum of the coefficients of the polynomial $(1+x-3x^2)^{2143}$ is

$\begin{array}{1 1}(A)\;-1\\(B)\;1\\(C)\;0\\(D)\;\text{none of these}\end{array} $

1 Answer

Sum of coefficients in $(1+x-3x^2)^{2143}$
$\Rightarrow (1+1-3(1)^2)^{2143}$
$\Rightarrow (-1) ^{2143}=-1$
Hence (A) is the correct answer.
