\[f(g)(x) = \left\{ \begin{array}{l l} \large\frac{1}{x}x \: if \: x > 0 \\ -\large\frac{1}{x}\: if \: x^2 < 0 \end{array} \right.\]
Hence (B) is the correct answer.
