Toolbox:
  • Formula used to solve this problem $P(A\cup B)=P(A)+P(B)-P(A\cap B)$
$P(A)=0.35$
$P(A \cap B)=0.25$
$P(A \cup B)=0.6$
$\therefore P(A \cup B)=P(A)+P(B)-P(A \cap B)$
$\Rightarrow 0.6=0.35+P(B)-0.25$
$P(B)=0.6-0.25-0.35$
$\Rightarrow 0.85-0.35$
$\Rightarrow 0.50$
Hence (A) is the correct answer.
