Toolbox:
A sentence is a statement if it is either true or false always.
The square of a number is an even number.
This sentence is not a statement because the square of a number is odd if
the number is odd and the square of a number is even if the number is even.
$\therefore$ The sentence is neither true nor false always and hence is not a statement.
