If the letters of the word ASSASSINATION are arranged at random.Find the probability that all A's are not coming together

$\begin{array}{1 1}(A)\;\large\frac{25}{26}\\(B)\;\large\frac{22}{35}\\(C)\;\large\frac{15}{26}\\(D)\;\large\frac{5}{26}\end{array} $

1 Answer

Given the word : ASSASSINATION
All A's are not coming together
$\Rightarrow $1-All A's coming together
$\therefore$ Probability of all A's coming together=$\large\frac{11!}{13!}$$\times 3!$
$\Rightarrow \large\frac{1}{26}$
Step 2:
$\therefore$ Probability of A's are not coming together $=1-\large\frac{1}{26}$
$\Rightarrow \large\frac{25}{26}$
Hence (A) is the correct answer.
