A single letter is selected at random from the word PROBABILITY .The probability that it is a vowel is

$\begin{array}{1 1}(A)\;\large\frac{1}{3}\\(B)\;\large\frac{4}{11}\\(C)\;\large\frac{2}{11}\\(D)\;\large\frac{3}{11}\end{array} $

Number of letters in a word =11
Number of vowels in a word =4
$\therefore$ Required probability =$\large\frac{4}{11}$
Hence (B) is the correct answer.
